Book Beginnings: The Age of Miracles by Karen Thompson Walker

We didn't notice right away.We couldn't feel it.
we did not sense at first the extra time, bulging from the smooth edge of each day like a tumor blooming beneath skin....

I wonder what it is they didn't notice....and what the notion of extra time means to the story ....

  5. Hi Jo,

Sorry! I just had to cheat on this one and check out the premise for the book. I am not a reader of science fiction, yet this one has me strangely intrigued, as the storyline is so unique.

I can't believe that the book has received over 7,000 reviews and has averaged a 4.5 star rating, so all those people can't be wrong when they comment that the book is a total mix of genres and not too hard core sci-fi.

This is a definite for my reading list, so thanks for the feature and I hope that you enoy it.
