I enjoyed Chocolat and Lollipop Shoes and am excited to think that the story of Vianne Rocher continues in this third book in the Chocolat series of books by English author, Joanne Harris.
In Peaches for Monsieur Le Cure, four years have elapsed and Vianne and Roux are still living in Paris, Anouk is fifteen and on the brink of womanhood, whilst eight year old Rosette faces her own challenges.
But the Summer wind calls them back to Lansquenet....and the story continues.
Can't wait for publication day....
It sounds brilliant - though I think I want to start from the beginning of Chocolat again, to get in the mood!
ReplyDeleteThe only book by Joanne I've read is blueeyedboy, so I really need to read some more! I have the second book to Chocolat (which I can't remember the name of right now ... something to do with blackberries, I think), but I need to read Chocolat first!

Hi Nancy - thanks for taking the time to comment. I am sure you will enjoy Joanne Harris books - Chocolat, Lollipop Shoes are the ones to read before Peaches for Monsieur Le Cure. Magic Realism at its best !
